WORSHIP

The purpose of the Worship & Creative Arts Team is to facilitate and lead the church in their worship of God. Through music, media, and other creative avenues, we seek to provide a safe and exciting opportunity in which gathered believers and unbelievers can see Jesus lifted high, as we connect with Him and each other. We strive to continually grow our culture of worship in the St. Marks community.

REACH

St. Mark’s Reach aims to RELATE to the broken, REACH out to the needy, and help those in a lost world to RISE in their true identity as children of God. Our guiding scripture is from Matthew 25:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

As we are led by the needs of very diverse people, our serving is very diverse! Below are some of the activities we are/have been involved in:

  • Homeless Outreach around the City Centre

  • Litter-picking in the local flat complexes

  • Food/vouchers shopping for needy families in the area

  • Summer Fun Fest community event

  • Back to school stationery for children in the area

  • Partnerships with Give & Receive Homeless Ministry

  • Bible Study/discipleship for new believers from the local area

  • Christmas Hampers for needy families in the community & church

  • Befriending—coffee/lunch with an isolated person

MEDIA

'The St.Mark's Media Ministry looks after a number of different areas: social media, live streaming, graphics, photography, video and website. The main goal of the media ministry is to make the word of God as accessible as possible. Our aim is to reach people where they are at, by the touch of a button. We serve closely alongside the Worship and Production community and have some laughs while we're doing it!  If you have a passion for serving God's kingdom and have an interest in media get in touch with us at media@stmarks.ie'

PRODUCTION

As part of the St.Marks family the production team help to make everything happen, from Sunday morning services, to weddings and everything in between. Within the production team we're passionate about using our gifts to serve, whether it building stages, set lights, running sound or helping events run smoothly, it's never dull in production.  But to describe what drives us in production it's simply our love of the Father and desire to create an atmosphere that enables people to worship him and have a personal encounter with him.

PRAYER TEAM

We believe that prayer is key in maintaining our connection to God. The St Marks Prayer Team are dedicated volunteers who uphold the congregation, its ministries, and the community in prayer. We serve to enrich the connection of the congregation to God through prayer and intercession. Essentially, we act on behalf of the Pastor to anyone who has come to church with a need for prayers or a word of encouragement.

The team is available at the end of every service to pray with anyone who needs prayers or counsel.

In these times whereby close contact is limited, we also have prayer cards that help us connect with you and know how best to stand with you.

We are available to pray with you at different times that suit you on phone or via video platforms.
